Just got home yesterday from a 6K trip to Arizona. A little more than half of the miles were pulling a 6300 pound trailer. I averaged 10.6 for the trip driving around 60 miles per hour. The truck was comfortable and easy to drive even through cities with lots of traffic. Glad to be home but looking forward to the next trip. Maybe to the Washington coast.

Just last week in the flats of I-95 in Florida. Towing a 2020 Surveyor. I experimented with different speeds and with no wind. Using the trucks calculations. For about 5 miles each time. I came up with 11 -12 MPG at 61 MPH. Any higher or lower it would drop off immediately into the 9s.

Your mileage may vary:33:

Trailer Weight 6920 LBS
Gross Weight 14120 LBS

Yep 100 lbs over truck payload.

keep it just under 2000 rpm gets the best towing numbers that seems to be the engines sweet spot for a balance of torque and horsepower.

Just went from Yuma, Az to Montrose, CO. 65 MPH most of the time. Trailer right at 8000 lbs. 2021 Crew 4x4 with 321s in the rear. 9.0 M.P.G. Climbed out of Phoenix at speed limit or 65 max. No problem. Before this truck I had 2018 ECO and struggled at 35 mph same mileage. Glad I switched to the 5.7

Just towed our new (< 2,000 lb) off-road teardrop from Kentucky to Maine and averaged 13 MPG running around 75 MPH most of the way. I thought that was horrible for such a small camper but I guess not.

Probably a factor of speed more that the weight of your camper. Awesome little rig by the way!
