My TPM on my 1500 have to be set at 39 psi to keep the warning from bugging me, is it a way to set the TPM setting warning to a lower pressure without taking to a dealer.

There is a member here who has a tool that can reset those minimum pressure values.

Good question. I often wondered how these sensors that were intended for ~39psig standard tires work with load E tires that air up to 60-72psig?

They don't care if you run too much psi in the tire, only alert if the pressure is lower then the preprogrammed psi.

I hear you there, but how do the TPMS know when a load E tire is low on pressure? Do each individual TPMS need to be reprogrammed for the load E's?

Reason I ask is, several co workers of mine had load E's put on their Rams recently and I asked them what they did. They were clueless.

No, they wouldn't know if a load E tire where low pressure would be say 50 psi, they would still think it's ok until it got down to 39 psi. You believe you program the BCM and not each sensor.
