Has anyone had an experience where one tire sensor stops being recognized by the truck? I never had a problem until dealer installed new tires. They have since replaced the faulty sensor, but it keeps happening (mostly in the cold). Just seems odd and the sensor works fine later in the day and the idiot light turns off.

Is it the same tire and sensor? Try putting switching that tire with another and see if problem moves. If not, it is sensor that picks up TPS information. If problem moves, it is probably a bad TPS installed in the tire.

What year is your truck ?
Battery life in a TMPS is said to be average 7 years + or -
I had 1 go bad in my 2015 and I changed all 4 !
In the cold weather I get some fluctuation but then get stable.. I also check with a digital PSI gauge

FYI
If I remember I read that the receiver for the TPMS is behind the drivers side front wheel behind the well liner :O
A stupid place to mount it lol

The TPMS receiver is in front of the driver front wheel. During winter it has a tendency to catch alot of debris from road grime. Suggest you look it over and even clear it of any debris. If you are a big off roader then the same applies with mud and crud.

In most cases a quick cleaning can correct most issues.

Tpms transmitters from MA Mopar will generally last 8 to 10 years. My 14 just had sensors replaced and my 16 still is on original sensors but on its 3rd set of tires. At about $50 and up per sensors if you purchase from Mopar, they tend to be the best if you keep your vehicle for many years.

If you trade frequently, then aftermarket sensors can work but their life may not be as long.

Truck is a 2022. Even when tires rotated it is always the left front sensor that goes out. I will look at the receiver to see if it's dirty.
