Traded the 2010 QC 2wd for a 2011 CC 4x4!!!!

I lucked out and got a major upgrade. I traded in the 2010 Big Horn QC 2wd Deep Water Blue Pearl for a 2011 Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4 Deep Water Blue Pearl. Cool thing is it already had the K&N cold air intake on it and exhaust. I believe it's a flowmaster


It was a rushed sale because we worked everything out over the phone (they were 2 hours away) and I had to get to the bank before they closed. Marine Federal is awesome 1.7% financing. They are so easy to deal with. Couple of things I noticed tho now that I have the truck home...

1) I noticed that after my drive home in cool wet conditions I had some moisture in the quad halogens but it was gone this morning? Is this normal?

2) The black "wrap" on the outside door jambs has some ripples around the edge of the door in it that I do not like. Still under factory warranty will dealer fix?



3) The front bumper trim on top of the chrome bumper but under the grill looks like a darker blue and seems to be a rougher finish???? Carfax and the bank says it's never been wrecked but who knows....Im gonna try to post some pics. You have to look close at the bumper to see what Im talking about. Compare the fender to it and you should see what Im talking about.

I would not hesitate to take it to the dealer either. If part of the bumper got repainted without being turned into insurance, it won't show up.

Nice upgrade! If I had to guess, somebody may have dinged up the bumper a little and tried to do a home fix...

Does taking the vinyl off not increase wind and road noise?

Weird... Friend of mine's '11 had that same ripple on the vynil. Was so evenly 'warped' I thought it was supposed to be that way originally. Wonder if that's been addressed in newer models.

Yeah, I'd take it back if you can manage it.

I got it from a dealer two hours away a GMC dealership, but i think I'll take it locally after Ive owned it for a while. Its still got about 7k left on bumper to bumper warranty so I'll be stopping by one day.

It's painted factory color underneath. A lot of guys have done it on here.

like said above if you wanted to just take that vinyl wrap off you could and it would be the deep water blue color underneath. There is a write up in the how to section on how to take it off.
