Trailer Brake Module not showing up in radio

Hey all,
2018 Ram 1500. Just finished doing the install of my brake module. Shows up in the EVIC just fine, won't display on my radio, 8.4 with CarPlay. Should be under settings>>trailer, simply not there.

OEM controller and finger control. 82215040AC

AlfaOBD with bypass cable.

Confirmed all settings (I think!). Settings done prior to the install of the modules. I have reset the radio and all modules, still nothing. Have even tried hooking up a good trailer as some posts noted.

Well, it's fixed! I did nothing additional at all. Went out this morning, started her up and trailer was now an option in the radio. Happy days!

This is sometimes common place when making vehicle configuration changes
The radio "reads" the configuration from the BCM, sometimes it can take a while or several key/drive cycles to update.

I have a similar issue. I have programmed everything just the same as chopperman1. I even had the delay where it did not show in my 8.4 radio display in settings, after the truck sits off for a couple of hours. The issue I have is that when I go into the trailer list in my radio settings, I am unable to change any of the four listed trailers. For example, I try to change my current trailer to "Car" or "Travel", and after selecting the check box, it reverts to the default and gives be the double error sound through the speakers. I do not have the trailer plugged in, but I am only changing the name.

Hello All! Has anyone heard this one? I ordered a 2022 Ram 1500 Limited 8/21. And I took delivery 3/22. It was ordered with the trailer package that has the trailer tire monitoring system. My truck has been to the dealership twice and I’ve been on the phone with Chrysler corporate regarding this issue. I’m currently awaiting a Chrysler corporate manager to call me back. My truck was not installed with two required modules for the system and a certain chip for the computer. Ram allowed me to pick these options when the modules and computer chip were not available to be installed in the vehicle. At this point the dealership said there’s nothing we can do and previously Chrysler corporate has told me that it’s the dealerships problem. I don’t know if this is a lemon law case or to follow through with the buyback program from Ram. Does anyone know anyone who has had problems like this? Or any suggestions? Your help is much appreciated!
