Trailer Brake Controller Settings Screen

I installed the trailer brake controller 82215040AC and went through the many videos on how to configure via alphOBD. I've confirmed the following options are set correctly:
1. CBC Features:Trailer Tow Present
2. Cust.set.menu2: Trailer Selected CSM Present
3. Cust.set.menu2: Trailer Name CSM Present
4. Cust.set.menu2: Trailer Type CSM Present
5. P/T Chassis Net: ITBM/HWM Integrated Trailer Brake Module

I can access the trailer screen where you see distanced traveled and the gain/output gauge. When I plug the trailer in, I get the notification that it is connected and to go to the trailer settings screen. The option to see the trailer settings is not appearing.

I did a test drive of the box trailer, set the gain, and it all works great. Having tow a boat trailer with surge brakes, this was so much nicer....now I have to upgrade the boat trailer to electric/hydraulic brakes The braking is so much smoother.

My only issue I'm having is seeing the trailer settings to save the configuration for this trailer.

Any ideas?

I found it, by accident. The video I watched showed you could get to the settings from the inst cluster settings. For me, it was in the settings from the center display.

I converted my tandem axle surge brake boat trailer to electric over hydraulic 4 wheel Kodiac discs. Will never have anything else on boat trailers, now.
You'll love the stopping power and control over the surge system.. Plus - NO KLUNK on leaving a stop.

You may have to turn on the light relays. too.

I have a 2019 RAM 1500 Classic EcoDiesel with the same issue. In addition to what you added, I used alfobd and included CBC Features: CBC Trailer Tow Present. I still cannot select different trailers in the infotainment. I can select the name option, and check mark it. As soon as I do, it defaults back to the current. In addition, Although everything works great, It still shows trailer not connected. Any idea what I am missing?

Did you use an OEM controller, or one from Amazon or Fleabay? Also, be vary careful with the part number of the controller. They are not universal between all years.

These trucks are very picky about electronic components.
