Trailer Turn/Brake Lights Problem

I recently purchased a 2004 Ram 1500 quad cab. It has the factory installed towing package. When I connect my trailer, all of the lights work except the turn/brake lights (both left and right). I have checked the fuses and checked for power at both the 7 and 4 pin connectors. There is no power at either one. I verified that there is power at the fuses as well.

Any thoughts on what could be wrong?

Time to starts chasing wires to find the break in continuity. I don't see any other way around it unfortunately. I don't know if the parking lights share the same ground as the brake/turn signal or not. I would assume that they do, but it wouldn't hurt to check.

Thanks for the reply. You may be right, but since the wires are bundled with several other wires, I was hoping to avoid that.

Interesting thought about a shared ground. I'll check that out too.
