I just got my 97 2500 back from a transmission rebuild . Did an oil change on the 5.9 Cummins checked the transmission fluid... barely on the dipstick so I grabbed a bottle of Atf and added 1/2 a quart......of DexronVI. SOoooo do I need to panic over 1 to 25 ratio of the wrong ATF( it holds 13 quarts of ATF+4 so 1/2 quart low means it had 12.5 quarts in it).
