My dad is having issues with his transmission. Not a Ram, but a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4. Think is should be about the same as our trucks. Basically in drive it does not go into the lower gears. Starts off sluggish like it’s in 2 nd or 3rd. He has codes p0753 and p1756. Was thinks solenoid issue but he is able to shift manually to 1,2 and it drives normally, not sluggish. Had filter, Fluid and pan replaced last year. Drives fine on the highway, just starts out in a higher gear, but once it gets going it’s fine. Any ideas? Thank you
