Transmission issue?

Hi.I have a question. Recently on my 2016 Ram when I put the truck in either drive or reverse from park, the D or the R will blink, and nothing happens. It's happened to not only me but my daughter. No codes or anything. Has anybody else had this happen, and is it a transmission problem that I should be concerned about?The truck only has 31000 on it. Thank you

Sounds more electronic vs mechanical

Make certain you have your foot firmly on the brake and shift slowly. The nanny software hates shifting without brake depressed. My 16 is super sensitive since the last recall call update.


If it does it under those circumstances, could be an electronic shifter issue.

If you are still under warranty, might ask dealer to check it out.
