Well, 40,000 miles on the truck and first major problem. Went to shift it to park and it wouldn't shift into park told me to service transmission and to set the parking brake. Wouldn't shift to reverse or back into drive.
Hopefully it's something simple, I do drive the truck on the ranch and running over brush might have pulled something loose that finally came completely loose.
Although the truck did have the gall to die in a Ford dealership parking lot I only had one sales guy try and sell me a furd.
I do pine for the days of a real shifter when you could smack it into park if you had to.
It's at the dealership right now waiting to hear back from them. I'll keep y'all posted.
