Howdy,
first off, awesome forum with great info.

Question: I have a 2019 1500 5.7 with the 4.10 trans close to hitting 100k. I’ve noticed hard up-shift at 5th to 6th gear… also it feels under powered or loosing power before if shift at those gears… noticed this is done during normal driving, no hauling/ pulling.

appreciate any feed-back!

Didn't know Ram ever put a 4.10 in the 1500.

Sounds like you might be dealing with a transmission issue, especially with the hard shifting between 5th and 6th gears and the loss of power. At around 100k, it's not unusual for some wear and tear to show up... I'd suggest checking the transmission fluid first, and if that doesn't sort it out, a trip to a mechanic for a proper look could be your best bet. Stay safe on the road!

Have you ever performed a trans fluid and filter change?
100K in miles is a lot of use out of the original fluid and filter.

Do you often tow and/or haul?

Do you keep the MDS system on at all times, or manually put it in 8 and cut the MDS off?

If you're going to keep your truck, perhaps also look into installing the trans cooler bypass valve that many of us in this community use. It was designed by a senior member and is flawless in its ability to keep ones trans operating cooler. Once can see temp drops in the range of up to 30c.
