I have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 with the hemi and when I first crank the truck and begin to drive with it without letting it warm up it won't shift into high gear until it gets warm, can anybody help me with this issue? Truck only has 95,000 miles.

Last time this happened to me my fluid was low. Have you checked it?

I'd be willing to bet that the T.C. isn't locking up when it's cold. If that's the case, then that's normal.

If by high gear you mean overdrive, it's designed to not do so (locks out overdrive and TC lockup) until it reaches a certain temperature.

The truck is designed to not engage into overdrive until warmed up. Don't worry that's perfectly normal.
