I own a 2006 Ram 2500 with Cummings. It Was not making noise or slipping just having trouble shifting like the ***** cylinder or the master cylinder was bad So I changed both. I bench bleed them and sure I have all of the air out. Still have trouble putting it in gear could something else be wrong

forgive my ignorance: COlumn shifter or Knob and if column, does it shift easily?

Yousay trouble putting into gear, just want to make sure it is the trsansmission.
Son said same thing about his truck and it was the column shifter that need linkage adjusted.

If he changed thee master-cylinder and *****-cylinder then it's a manual transmission. The bigger question is what's a Cummings? (I'm guessing he meant Cummins).
It's probably something with the shifter linkage. It's possible there's something wrong internally with the transmission.
