Transmission question

I have a 99 dodge 1500 90,000 miles 2wd with a 5.2 I have had the transmission go out in my 97 and my 2001 and neither one did anything like this. It shifts fine threw 1st 2nd and 3rd no problem and reverse is fine but it will not shift into overdrive at all. fluid is full doesn't smell burnt could there be another problem or is it time to replace it?

no clue, but unless you need overdrive its not a problem. i drive my truck all under 45, and rarely ever hit 50 or more.

my overdrive clunks, so i dont even bother using it.
