Transmission stuck in 1.

Hello. I have a 2006 Dodge 2500 5.7L Hemi automatic transmission. I shifted into 1 and now it is stuck there. I disconnected shift cable at transmission and it still will not shift out of 1. Any idea what it is going to take to fix this? TYIA.

is the transmission stuck in one or is the range selector lever stuck in the one position?
