most people like them until they have one fail. when i had my jeep, they were fairly popular since they were cheap so it didnt matter if they got destroyed offroad. i dont think i could justify the risk saving a few $$ on tires for a $40k+ truck though. maybe if my truck was a farm truck that didnt see the highway that often i could see it being worth it.

I bought some a few years ago for a Range Rover Discovery I was building for some backwoods camping/exploring. I thought they were really nice, looked quality and the price was great. Unfortunately that's where my experience ends with them because I sold the truck before really using them. I did drive on them on road for about an hour and they were fine. Smooth and quite.

100% correct...you get lucky, or you don't. I ran a few sets with zero issues (on old stuff) and then had a buddy have one come apart on the first set he put on a beater tahoe...
