So today I washed my truck and tried Meguiars gold class premium quick detailer, I have to say this stuff is great! Gives my truck a great shine and overall very easy to apply, and it's not too expensive, just thought if share

As the name implies, quick detailers are fast and easy to use and they generally provide a good shine for your finish. They don't however provide any real lasting protection. After I seal and wax my truck, I use a quick detailer after every wash in between complete details. It provides just a little extra "pop".

I use a diluted Optimum No Rinse waterless wash solution with microfiber maybe once/twice a week between washings. Works well to keep most of the dirt at bay.

Yea, my wife has a Maxima that's "jade," but more like grey with a lot of different metallic flake in it. I recently washed it and put the meguiars you are talking about on it, and man that paint looked like it was 3/4 of an inch think. Very nice stuff.

Sounds interesting. Will try that product.

If using something immediately after a wash, I'd use a spray wax instead of QD. A good spray wax will at least leave some sort of protection for ~ 4+ weeks. I really like Duragloss AquaWax. I use QDs for bird bombs, and clay lube. I've never use it on the whole car for protection or shine enhancement.

ONR (Optimum No Rinse) is great for winter washes in the garage. I'll typically run through a touchless underbelly wash to get the real bad crud off, and then thoroughly wash with ONR in the closed garage. This is of course much more difficult to do with the Ram -- because of it's and my garage's size.
