Trouble code key dance on 2018 Ram

Hey all. Well, I just noticed the damn light finally turned off on its own but I’m still curious... does the key dance for code retrieval still work on the 4th Gens with the push button start? I had my first check engine light from my Pedal Commander... didn’t do it before but last night I changed the setting on it and it tripped the light for the service electronic throttle control.

And it’s back on again. I figured that because I was driving when I switched the Pedal Commander is what triggered the light but I just changed it while idling and that re-tripped the light again....

No, you need a OBD II reader. Autozone can do it or some place similar.
