Hey guys, I have a stock 2010 ram 1500 big horn package and my brother has stock 2012 ram 1500 St package. I noticed that his sits a little higher than mine so I went and measured to make sure. Turns out his sits 1/4in higher in the front and 3/4in higher in the rear. What would you guys think could be the reason for this?

Suspension differences, possibly different tire sizes and may even go as far as your suspension has "settled" more than his with a little extra age/miles on it...

slight variation in tire sizes due to different brands or one wore more than the other?

We have the same exact tires and size. They are both brand new sets.

Yours may have settled more than his, that makes the most sense to me, coupled with the fact you have a big horn and his is a st yours weighs a little more just a few hundred not much but a extra 2 years could make a difference. What about 1 upping him and lifting that bad boy?? Taller not for long!

Haha that's the plan man. Gonna go bilsteins in the front but now I'm thinking of adding something to the rear as well.... Anything out there for just 0.5-1in of lift? What about 1in coils? Do they have the same payload/towing rating as stock, just slightly taller?

You and get coil spacers for the rear I don't know what all dimensions they make them in but I know you can get between .75-1.50 for sure I want to do bils on 1.4 and 1 out back with 34's. There are also tuff truck coils, they make a 25% and 50% stronger spring. If I'm not mistaken the 50% lifts the back up 3 inches I don't know what the 25% will do I was thinking this route to get the back up 1-2 inches but I haven't seen any hard numbers on that. Hopefully someone will read this and confirm some numbers.

That sounds perfect. I'd be interested in the 25% coils for sure.
Edit: just visited their website and all the coils state they maintain stock ride height...

I just installed some Performance Accessories 1.5" rear coil spacers yesterday. Took me less than an hour to install and only cost $45 shipped, no brainer.
