Ok I dropped the truck off at the body shop. I leave to go out of town on wednesday so it should be good to go when I come back in a few weeks.
The damage to the paint can mostly be buffed out so that will save the insurance company some money. They have to replace the tail gate, bed of truck next to the cab, fender flares, and tail lights. I am working on the insurance part on the boat so I hope I break even on this but it looks like I will be down almost a grand in this.
I will have the truck shop that did all my work throw on my adjustable shocks while I'm gone seeing how they will have my truck to rhino line the new bed.

Insurance pays off in the end then, im surprised they cover things like offroading?

I was on a road till it gave way due to my truck weight. Up in Alaska most roads are dirt anyways to it is hard to say to only drive on a hard ball.

That sucks man! I hope they get it all taken care of for you, with it costing you nothing or almost nothing.

I had a buddy of mine rolled his Jeep 3.5 times down a hill at an off road park....insurance still covered it and he was straight up honest with them where he was.

Glad you guys were both ok and now the truck is getting fixed. I know you don't want to share pics but did you get a pic of the salmon at least?

holy crap that is scary. glad to hear everyone was ok. i know how you feel about your truck, mine got sideswiped real bad last year on thanksgiving. i parked it over night on my street because my driveway was full from all the family that came to visit and someone did a hit and run on my truck. i get sick even thinking about how it looked and mad that no one took responsibility for it :shooter:
