Truck stalls when put in drive

Truck has 318,been parked in barn for probably 15 years, has new carburetor and fuel pump starts right up Will idle fine for half hour or more, as soon as I put it in drive or reverse it stalls. Any help would be appreciated

Sounds like some mice chewed on you wire harness. Check the trans wires somewhere is broken i bet.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me
