Truck surges 2014 Ram big horn 5.7

Good morning, 1st post and I have a question. I have a 2014 Ram big horn with the 5.7 hemi. The truck surges at speeds of around 40-50 mph. Dealer says it is going in and out of overdrive. That doesn’t seem correct to me. Anyone else experience this.

If your truck has the 8spd transmission (shift knob) and the 7" EVIC, you can use the Gear +/- buttons on the steering wheel to see what gear the transmission is in and limit it from going into the overdrive gears (7 & 8 are both overdrive).
