I'm looking at the flowmaster super 10 and they have one that just replaces the muffler for 300 somthing but I was wondering with the better performance gain on these trucks a true dual or single in dual out?

There is very little performance gain on any exuast upgrade to these trucks. Do it for the sound or don't bother.

Single in and dual out muffler swap is the cheapest option you got. But I have to disagree somewhat with no performance gains. I just swapped a Cherry Bomb Extreme for a Magnaflow 14". And I have to say the truck feels snappier and more responsive down low.

Try this Jones Exhaust Full Boar Race Single Chamber single in dual out, i have had one on my truck for over 2 years with no issues [same as a flowmaster 10] but way cheaper. E Bay for around 40 bucks with shipping.

There are a lot of gains that can come from an "tuned" exhaust system. Long tubes are great for street applications, mixed with a X-pipe and high flow cats, the muffler really is all there for sound and is all what sound you prefer.

I wrote up this long explanation, but deleted it..

Simple answer is just go with the single in dual out. the stock manifolds do a good job with your average Hemi.

Long Tubes have there benefits too, do some searches on the site and you will understand

or watch this episode of carfix they explain exhaust systems pretty well... cant find a video but it was the episode they did a old challenger and a newer srt full exhaust system
