Hey all, I was going to do a tune up on my truck. Oil, plugs, wires etc. I used e3 platinum plugs In my last truck and got better mpg from it. Do these trucks like these kinds of plugs or should I stick with conventional copper?

Be careful when trying to remove the spark plug closest to the firewall on the driver side. The ridiculous sleeve around the spark plug has a tendency to rot building up a rust barrier around the spark plug making it a huge pain to get a socket to grab the plug. You will also likely get some foreign debris into the cylinder once you do manage to get the plug out. The engineer that thought to put a steel sleeve in a cast iron water trap needs to be kicked in the junk... :nutkick:

Copper but not cheap ass autolite plugs. I like the Bosch super plus copper plugs part number 7927.

Alright thanks guys. I hope I won't have a problem with that plug. Anything I can do to not have the issue again?

Any recommendations for wires?

Just any decent wires that are 7.5mm and larger.
