Tuner Question

Hello All -

I'm new to RAM trucks and tuners for that matter.... I have a 13 Sport with the 5.7, 3.21 gears, CAI and Y-Pipe has been replaced.... I'm planning to have a set of 3.92s installed soon and do the clutch fan delete so I'll need a tuner....

My main question is about the tuner it's self.... Does it have to stay plugged into the truck all the time OR can you plug it into the data port, push in the tune and then unplug it?

I'm sure I'll have other questions later but for now Thanks in Advance for all your advice....

I recently traded my 13 and took the Diablo tuner off before I traded it. It is for sale in the "For Sale" section if your interested in saving a little money on a tuner.
