Turn signal truck says its out its not

2014 2500 truck says passenger turn signal out its not. Blinks fast inside normal outside. Checked connections all good cleaned them. Led tail lights all bulbs working brake turn tail all working. Third brake light working. Disconnected batteries to try to reset no luck. Ive done everything that ive read could be wrong? Im stumped any ideas??

May i suggest that you spray Electrical Contact Cleaner, like CRC or LPS brands,
Into your Trailer Plug.

If there is corrosion, seen or unseen in that connection,
it can affect your Headlights, Tail Lights, Signal Lights , Flashers & Brake Lights

Check your License Plate Lights & Mirror Lights too

Several times when I received that warning on my 2014 Ram 1500 w/Hemi, it was one of the two bulbs out in the center, high mounted brake light.

You said the third brake light is working - but are both bulbs working?

Are the LED lights OEM or aftermarket? Newly installed or been in there a while?

Check your third brake lights. Had this problem a few weeks ago and one of the third brake lights was going bad. It was a LED bulb and it was flashing. Once I changed it out with a new one the turn signal out message never came back. The bad LED was causing the truck to think the front right turn signal was out when it was still good. Strange????

Since you don’t have OEM style bulbs - I’d bet the LED bulbs are the issue, even though you’ve had them for some time with no issues.

Just an FYI... but the message on the dash doesn't actually tell you which bulb is out. It is a generic picture. It's simply telling you that there is a light out somewhere.

I had a similar problem after replacing my LED tail lights with aftermarket (2020 1500). "Left turn signal out." It was driving me crazy! It "dinged" and the dash lit up nearly every time I hit the brake. Everything worked perfectly, but the warning was going off and I'd get hyper blink inside for 2 months. Dealer told me there's nothing they could do. It was bc the system didn't like my aftermarket tail lights (voltage blah, blah, blah). I was desperate!

SOLVED... I was low on fuel. the "Low fuel" warning light kicked on. "Left turn signal out" light stopped. I was afraid to refuel, but of course I eventually did. The warning never went off again. I don't know why, but I'm telling you that's what happened. Give it a try!

Low fuel doesn't cause a light out error.... typically it's a issue with the canbus vs aftermarket LEDs. Regulators usually correct the issue (or AlphaOBD). You may have gotten lucky but I can't think of a time in existence where I've ever heard of a low fuel light causing the blinkers to act up.

CHMSL may have a bad bulb or ground, are they LED, were resistors installed maybe one is bad.
