Two kicker 12" crvs

Just figured I'd show off my system. I've got a dual 12" sub box ported with two crv 12" kickers and an1800w amp. All items were bought off eBay for a grand total of 420 USD. It's in my RCSB an I bought a box made for it ago it fits perfectly behind the seat in the black box behind my seat.

Yeah the extra length makes I sound smooth and still hits hard. Mine hits really hard for a while but then the battery starts to drain and I lose all power not sure if it's my battery altinator or even my wiring. My altinator ram my truck for 2 hours w/o a battery tho so i don't think it's that. Thinking bout pushing out anouther $200 for a yellow top

Do you have a capacitor on it?

Those hit great though I had 2 10's in my old rc pushed by 1000 watts and I could rattle everything in the truck!

A capacitor. Idk how to explain it but the batter gives the capacitor juice for your amp and to use for your subs to hit. It doesn't make sense to me but I know they help a TON with your battery. I have a 1600 watt amp on mine and it was killing my battery, but I put a 2ot capacitor on it an now I can play it for hours before my battery even starts to go down. So I'd definitely look into one of those before spending $200 on a yellow top.

forget a cap, it's a bandaid....to see if its your alt, when hammering the system like you normally would with truck running, get a voltmeter and see voltage AT the amp...if its low, better get more current (better alt and or upgrade wiring) or you can blow woofers first, amp second.
