Two Rams = Twice the fun!!

So i Just got the chance to drive around in a 2013 Ram 1500 Laramie with 8 speed... and i just could not pass up the photo op

color is Black gold and must say i really like it

now to the fun part, i will summarize first by saying... I WANT A 2013!!! hahahahah

the difference between the 2 especially in the driving is immediately noticeable the 8 speed is so smooth and definitely makes the truck feel faster and lighter, the electric steering is a great addition and makes the truck behave more car'ish. the interior is even better especially with the larger screen and cluster display. only gripe is that the gear knob is a bit far from the driver and feels awkward - maybe just needs getting used to i guess.

if the interior was black and it had the Rambox i would've purchased it then and there.

There is a lot to like about the 13s.
I just can't get over the headlights and the vertical fogs. Just don't like the front end 'updates'

I still would like to get '13 tails off a Laramie (white trim) think they'd look great.

You get used to the knob shifter quickly, and it becomes second nature. So much so that when driving the GF's Jeep Wrangler I always end up grabbing the AC fan speed knob looking for the shifter . lol.

i like the deep molten color better than the black gold. that being said, there is no comparison between the 2013's and 2012's. RAM has REALLY gotten their act together lately. Now seeing the 2014's released is making me wish I'd have waited 6 months to get the 2014. Then again, I'd be saying that about the 2015 too!
