I read through all the old threads on this issue as soon as it popped up on my 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn.
This error code prevents both ECO drive mode as well as the remote start functionality.
Eventually narrowed it down to the pigtail. While replacing the pigtail, I discovered that one of my three wires was broken off at the connector, so I thought perfect, this will take care of it. I replaced the pigtail, then removed the negative battery terminal and squashed the breaks to reset the code. All seemed good. Shut off and restarted the engine with no issues. Drove, and the truck went into ECO mode readily. (With today's gas prices, this was my priority)
Then I remote started the truck. Within 15 seconds it shut itself off and threw the same code. Ugh.
I reset the code again, and have my eco mode back, and am just avoiding remote start. Any other ideas guys?
