I read through all the old threads on this issue as soon as it popped up on my 2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn.

This error code prevents both ECO drive mode as well as the remote start functionality.

Eventually narrowed it down to the pigtail. While replacing the pigtail, I discovered that one of my three wires was broken off at the connector, so I thought perfect, this will take care of it. I replaced the pigtail, then removed the negative battery terminal and squashed the breaks to reset the code. All seemed good. Shut off and restarted the engine with no issues. Drove, and the truck went into ECO mode readily. (With today's gas prices, this was my priority)

Then I remote started the truck. Within 15 seconds it shut itself off and threw the same code. Ugh.

I reset the code again, and have my eco mode back, and am just avoiding remote start. Any other ideas guys?

Shouldn't U11E9 prevent ECO mode? Why specific to remote start functionality?

Remote start always fires up, but then shuts itself off with the remote start disabled message. 2016 does have tipm, part number 68243257. Thinking that could be at issue?

No, I don't now that I remember motor city mechanic video. TIPM is the main issue with starter issues, but not this one that is due to shutters, ignore that. I don't have these on my 2010.

I watched most of the MotorCityMechanic's stuff, to be honest that is whee a ton of what I know comes from. I know he has something on this. I think this is a popular delete item as well. I bet if you delete that, you may have 99 problems, but this wont be one of them. You are in cold area, may want to keep it, dunno?

Four wires Not positive of the color maybe yellow for CAN buss if you have a wire schematic if not I’ll look it up I have a late 2016

The main issue with TIMP is fuel pump relay switch error and or just corrosion at the relay or fuse
