Uconnect 5.0 issues

I have a 2016 ram the radio is a uconnect 5.0 just started rebooting Saturday on my way to work do y’all have any ideas on how to resolve this issue. I’ve tried disconnecting the battery and resetting the radio nothing has helped

My ‘15 5.0 did the same thing. I believe it has something to do with a bad update from SXM (even if you dont subscribe) but they wont admit to it. I tried to diagnose with Uconnect but got nowhere. My solution was an 8.4 upgrade which i really like. Sorry i cant be more help.

That’s ok what all did you have to buy to do the upgrade to the 8.4 I started looking at that just trying to figure out what all I need

I just purchased a 2015 Ram Promaster City with UConnect 5.0 / SXM. The radio reboots every 3 minutes when connected to Bluetooth. (Well, this certainly defeats the hands-free option . . . )

Any ideas? the update site claims the version is current.
