2025 Uconnect Volume While Texting

I've got a 2025 Power Wagon and the Uconnect voice has issues while I text.

If I text using the voice command button on the steering wheel, the volume of the Uconnect voice, Alexa, drops to half of what it was prior to texting. Sometimes I have to do a reset of the radio, press and hold volume button, to get the volume to return to proper levels. Today the radio corrected itself on it's own after several several minutes. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Anyone else have this issue?

I dont't know about the newer Uconnect models, but on my older version you can actually set two volume levels. I typically use Android Auto so the built in Uconnect could be different, but the volume you set for music is different than the voice volume. I know while the voice is active you can adjust the volume level that only affects the voice assistant. Gotta be quick though before it stops talking.

I've found out some updates to Uconnect do not always work well with Iphone, my Iphone 15 pro max worked when i first got it where as my 13 pro max would not, then months later I got a Uconnect update and it stopped working for a good year until I got Iphone IOS updated to 26.01 from I think it was IOS 16 or was it 18, anyway during the time it would not connect via bluetooth I used a cord to plug it into the dash outlet, it was a pain to plug it in every time I got in or out of the truck but I was able to connect Apple play to the radio...

Cant you just adjust the volume with the stereo knob while shes talking?

Oh I can change the volume but even if I turn the volume up all the way, it's not as loud as when I'm not texting. Example: I get in the truck, all the volume controls are set at 19, I use the command button on the steering wheel to text my friend Bob, Alexa sends the text and when Bob responds, Alexa's volume has decreased, the setting in the volume controls is still at 19.

Have low optioned 19 Biggyhorn with I Phone 14Pro. Only option I have is wired. But works well and U can adjust the volume between the different operations like say Phone VS Music.
