Uconnect 8.4 and USB

Hey all,

I thought I remembered seeing a post a while back about this but can't find it.

In the trucks that have the center console with the media port for USB, Ipod, SD etc.

I remember others having issues as am I with the dedicated "12V Charger" USB port, you have to unplug and then plug back in to get it to start charging. I can use the USB Media port, but that makes my iPhone act as an iPod basically and disables Bluetooth Audio.

Any ideas/fixes. Thinking of maybe just running my own 12V USB port to the center console.

Hi, I am from Mexico and have the same problem. I have taken the truck to the dealer like 10 times and they can't figure out a way to make it work properly
