Uconnect App?

Hello,

I own a 2014 Dodge Ram Laramie with Uconnect 8.4AN AM/FM/BT/NAV, and I'm noticing that other 2014 Dodge Ram's have UConnect App button, but I'm not seeing that in mine?

Is this an part of an update I need to do or what?

Hit the controls button and see what it does. I have the apps button, but not the settings button. When I hit the controls button, the setting button pops up

Nope not at all. This is weird, is this the only 8.4 Uconnect System or is there something than that?

Okay, I did some deep searching. The reason why I don't see the app button, is because it's not either available in Canada and it was said to be available in 2017.

It sucks! I wanted something where with Uconnect Access that I can start my truck from my phone! [emoji20]

Hopefully they will finally do it in the future 1500 models!

So , did you purchase the truck in the US ?
Are you sure you have the RA4 8.4AN
You could have the RA4 8.4 CA with U.S. Navigation

You have SXM ? I thought that was U.S. based as well ?

No I bought it in Canada, but it seemed it was imported into Canada according to my window sticker, as well yes with the RA4 8.4AN.

And yes I do have SXM too, it is also for Canada as well.
