Uconnect bluetooth issues

I've tried an update but this is aggravating the crap out of me.

Every time i receive a text i get a second one immediately that is from a random person and time in my conversation history. The text my be 2 years old and from somebody i haven't texted in forever. Then if i am listening to spotify it switches to an audiobook app that is use after it announces the text.

Any thoughts? Or advice other than updating unconnect.

Its a Google Pixel phone if that matters. The bluetooth works perfectly in my work truck.

Have you tried deleting the phone from the radio and then delete then radio from the phone, then re-pair the two??? Sometimes the system gets a glitch and the only way to fix it is to delete and re-pair them.

I would also try soft reset the uconnect screen.
