Hey guys, i have seen some guys have the 3D Navigation in there trucks.

I have the 8.4A in my truck that had the Nav activated before i bought the truck so essentially i have the 8.4N (minus the HD radio part)

Because my Nav was not "factory" is that why it isnt 3D like i have seen on the 8.4N?

There was a setting in my navigation setup on my 2012 wrangler that you could change it to 3d. I will have to check my 2014 ram and see if its nav has the same options.

You can't get the 3D graphics with the upgraded 8.4A. I read it somewhere but I can't find it.
Must be the limitations of the slightly different software.

The 3-D is definitely available on 2014 factory nav. I have some pics I will load of the setup screen in the next xouple of days.

Can you show some pictures of your map screen? I have 3D checked on mine along with the building modeling and I've never seen any buildings or much difference from 2d and 3d.
