With my LG phone, it takes a couple attempts to set it up with the U-Connect system.
I have not had any luck with the USB port in the glove box. Try the USB port on the front.
I have also found that to transfer music on, it will not work with a USB. I have to put the music on my mp3 player, then plug it into the AUX port.
Then, of all the music I have on there, I keep hearing the same songs. Over and over. Not too happy with this system. Is there an upgrade for it?

I have not had any issues with mine. I have the 4s and regular iPod. The glove box plug worked fine first try as well as the uconnect.

Maybe check the connect or the cord even for the iPod. And keep tryin the uconnect it should take.

My (work) Blackberry and the truck know each other are there, but that's as far as I've gotten. The system tells me to go to ramtruck.ca to find out how to set it up?

I also have the iPhone 4S, which works fine with my system through the Bluetooth. And I have and old iPod I use as my primary source of music...that I keep connector through the USB port in the center console. I have the fold down seat, so it's actually in the glovebox located on top of the third seat. All of that has always worked fine for me, so maybe it's certain phones that the Uconnect has issues with?

Does your iPod work like normal when you plug it into your computer? I'm thinking maybe it's an iPod issue...just a guess though.

So now it's your iPod that won't connect? That's really weird. I would try to use a friend's iPod or phone and see if it will connect to that. Then maybe you can figure out whether its a uconnect issue or an issue with the phone/iPod

Ya I'll try that. I don't think it should be my iPod though

Yea I would be surprised if it was, I'm guessing it a Uconnect issue just since it's new technology. There are always glitches and stuff. Hopefully its nothing serious but I doubt it is.

Damn man that's really odd. The fact that its easier to use your ipod controls than your truck, and then that it won't work anymore, makes me think more now that it's something wrong with the Uconnect. I think at this point you probably need to take it to the dealer and let the warranty take care of it
