Ok then. Looks like you have the 2018 UAS 4c radio (w/o nav) and are on version 21.9.

The update file I posted ( Post 986. ) should work for you if you want to use it or you can have the dealer do the update to v22.6 referencing TSB 08-016-19_Rev C

Is it relatively easy to do yourself? I only ask because every time I make an appt for anything at my dealership it takes at least 3 weeks to get in and even then they usually don't get to it for a couple days. I had it in shortly after the update occurred, they swapped out my unit for a new one. They had it for 11 days and the new unit already had the crap update.

Well I went for it. I downloaded something and am uploading it right now into my truck. fingers crossed.

I got a screen that said download not compatible but, I think it worked. I had my bass setting on -1, now I can crank it to +8 where it used to be pre update. Sound quality is definitely clearer.

Try pulling up your dealer screen and check your version numbers now

Ignition switch on, hold the hot and cold "up/down" buttons and the defrost button down at the same time for a few seconds until the menu pops up

One thing I have noticed since I did the update. There is a little bit of lag when using the Bluetooth that wasn't there before.When I hit fast forward, rewind or play it takes a second or two for it to respond. Still beats the crap sound it had before.
