UConnect update - now shows no phone connected

2018 RAM 2500 UConnect update was completed at the dealer. As soon as I plug my iPhone into usb cable (either one) and try to make a call it says there is no phone connected. Both truck and phone shows that it is disconnected. If I hook it up via Bluetooth (not the cable) it will stay connected. Anybody else having this issue? Dealer says they can’t find anything on this issue. This comes after wiring issue in the cluster causing rear seat heater switch to not light up......

I'm sorry to hear this. Can you please confirm you're using an Apple manufactured cord?

Yes, it is the cord I got with the phone. UConnect told me yesterday it may be that the new update doesn’t go with the latest update on our phones. The truck is back at the dealer at this time and I have an open case with FCA. This is just one of the many issues this vehicle has been in the shop for in under 12,000 miles of purchasing it new.
