Unbelievable Beastmode - Don't yell at me

So I know this isn't a Ram, buy y'all seem to like drag racing about as much as I do, so we can all appreciate a sweet run. This is my friends mustang. 2001, bone stock 4.6 SOHC long block with 150k miles on it, long tube headers, carbbed, and a very well setup suspension. He clicked off a 1.37 60' and 6.71 1/8 with the help of a 200 shot. I am by no means a Ford guy, but damn, he got that pony moving, and on a high mileage motor to boot. To me this just screams badass!

Before you ask, no, it is not a Cobra, just has the front fascia. It's just a run of the mill 4.6 GT.

There's a dude at the track, maybe a semi-professional photographer, who takes pics of ever car as they leave and then he posts them on his screens there at the track and sells the pics. The pic I posted is one of his "sample" pics that you can get for free, hence the little circle thing smack dab in the middle. Still an awesome picture.

I've seen that car through it's whole transformation, and it has always been my buddy's goal to see how fast he could get it on the stock long block. I guess he found out. 6.71 in the 1/8th. Shortly after this his stand alone fuel system for the nitrous failed and it went lean.... POP! Not bad for a 150k mile 4.6. It took more abuse than I would've bet on.

I have videos on my phone, but I don't know how to post them. Before he did the C4 trans conversion he was running through the stock 5 spd. He would powershift that thing so hard and fast people thought he had some high dollar drivetrain. Made me cringe every time I heard it because he jammed the gears so hard. The 5 spd said bye bye after leaving on a 100 shot one too many times. Input shaft just broke right off.
