Under dash LED???

Alright....so I installed brake controller (pain in the butt) and I came across this extra cable....or LED next to the obd port. I don't think I unplugged it although it looks like it connects to something. Ideas??

I believe it's the footwell light. Not sure exactly where it's supposed to be

Footwell light. It attaches the the bracket that the OBD port attaches to. There is a square cut out that matches the the clear(ish) plastic piece that the light emits from on that bracket.

Thanks guys.....unfortunately, it looks like the previous owner did some work under there and broke the clip the connects it. Nothing a zip tie couldn't fix though....haha

I was going to mention that it looked broken but not having those exact LEDs, I didn’t want to mention it. I went with the older style bulb holder so I can color match the LEDs in them to the rest of the interior LEDs.
So I know all about zip ties. That’s how I mounted mine. It’s out of anyone’s line of sight, so being zip tied doesn’t bother anything.
