I want to put a sub under the middle seat in the back. What do y'all recommend for this?

If you want to do that then you will need to remove the carpet, cut out the metal frame for the under seat storage and then remove the section of molded carpet underneath the rear bench seat and replace it with regular auto carpet. It can be done it just takes a little work. Honestly I'm a little surprised I haven't seen it already done by someone.

That's what I figured, but most trying to add a sub don't wanna do all that. Hell, when I first did my audio build I didn't even wanna take out the plastic storage try in my single cab lol. But now I wanna use any space I can get!

Honestly I hate those stupid storage cubbys. I mean if you have some loose items to store yes I see where they can come in handy. But if you are an audio guy they really limit your options for boom. They should have just made a removable plastic deal to go under the seat that would have been better imo.

I had to build a custom box (non-ported) for under the driver's side rear seat. It took up the entire driver side and the area over the middle "hump" to get the right box volume.

here's some crappy phone pics. it's a near rectangular box with a 10 inch woofer mounted on the under surface, cone sticking out of the box (mounted inside out/backwards) and wired out of phase to keep the sound in phase. That was the only way to make up enough volume in the box and make everything fit. Sounds great.
