I am close to purchasing my 5th Ram, but first w power seats. The previous manual seats had room to remove the seat track from the stock brackets and bolt them to some modified brackets that were closer to the floor. The Ram I am purchasing is from out of town so I can not look for myself. Can any RAM owners (this is a 2022 Classic Reg Cab) w power seats comment on the electronics that may be under the seat? Do you feel there is excess space that would allow even small improvements? My plan is to lower and move it back a bit taking out the behind the seat storage bin. Thanks Everyone

I would recommend sitting in one and testing out the seat adjustments. Power seats usually have a height adjustment. But I can’t say for sure that 4th gens do. Maybe someone with a 4th gen regular cab truck with power seats can verify that.

2014 Outdoorsman 2500 with power seat has up/down adjustment. Some space under but not a ton with the electronics, etc. Are you going for more head/legroom? At 6'4" I've got more than enough of both but realize I'm not the tallest guy out there.

I have a 23' Warlock 4thGen with a driver side power seat and a manual slide seat on the passenger side.

Lots of space under both as I have one amp on a raised platform under my drivers seat and another amp & a db 5-farad capacitor under the passenger side with each one on its own raised platform, too.

I also douse all the driver side under the seat connectors with Krown rust/lubrication spray a couple of times a year to ensure that the winter crud, and just moisture in general, doesn't affect anything in those connectors.

Good Lord. How tall are you? LOL

I'm 6'3" and never have I found a cab/interior of a auto as spacious as this Ram truck.

I can't speak for the power seats, but on my manual adjustable there is a ton of room under the seat. Power adjustment, heated, massaging, etc. all that might get cramped. Maybe visit a dealer, and get a hand under the seat could help.

Im 6'4" .. most of my height is upper half of my body. My head usually touches the roof. I have got lucky w the manual seats and the extra room under the seats. Now i am worried about all the electronics that come w power seats etc being in the way. I am hoping someone w power seats can confirm .. maybe even snap a quick pic
