So, I had a 2" level kit on front at one time but took it out because of potential cause of my vibration problem, then I had the dreaded nose down so I put a 2" lowering springs on rear to level her down some. I really like the look but sometimes I miss the lifted level look. Now I may be able to put a real and quality lift kit on it soon if I want to. My question is this, leave her where she is now (lowered level look) or go back up 4" with a real lift kit? Tires are currently 285/70-17 on 17x9 wheels. I have front and rear painted bumpers on the way and plan to use something like black rhino liner on them. So what do you think, up or down? 20180727_221620.jpg 20180727_221707.jpg 20180727_221652.jpg

Agreed if a 2 wheel drive don't lift it. I'd have left it stock, but the way you have it now looks ok also.

If you have painted bumpers on the way why would you rhino line them black? Color match them.

If you are stuck on black rhino line you could have done that to the existing bumpers and saved money

In the end, there is only one person you have make happy with the way your truck looks-----that's you(well maybe the wife too). Do what ever makes you happy--your the one that drives it and your the one that's paying for it. I do however like a "leveled look" instead of the nose down look, whether it be a 4x4 or a 4x2.

Sometimes I like the truck because of the 8ft bed and sometimes I think that long bed regular cab looks like a freighter boat or something. too much flat long bed and not enough cab. But it was a decent trade when I got it, numbers were right over what they were for a quad cab 4x4. Some day Ill go back to a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited I figure.

I do not want to rhino line the chrome bumpers so I can keep them if I ever decide to trade trucks, and Im not stuck with rhino liner, I might still color match the painted ones when they get here. I just was thinking about breaking up so much white with a little black, and the rhino liner or something similar would protect bumpers if I get on trails or off road.
