Chrome? All that is left is.......well, handles (probably gone soon), lug nuts, and a little bit on the badges. Oh, and the grill insert. tips..........

Got me some MOPAR center caps today to test.......they fit, but have some play in them. I'm going to try something with them and see how they come out.

I have the original caps........well, the painter does.

They were chrome, and REAL chrome, odd. No wonder they are $48 a pop.......he stripped that down, then smoothed them. Painted a Ram's head in silver, then blacked out the rest. When he went to push one onto the wheel..........the center section popped out of the cap. Thin crap.

So, I bought these from the dealer today. $31.40 for 4 of these Mopar ones. I think the wheels they are made for (my old 20s, or Chally 20s) have a thicker center bore than my new wheels. These will fit, but once you push it on, there is 1/4" of play in it. So, I ran a bead of silicone on the clips tonight, will let that harden up - might give it enough to create that lip it needs to sit on the wheel right. We'll see, I will probably toss them on in the morning.
