So I currently have an all stock 2012 Express with the standard chrome 20's. On Thursday (4/4/13) I'm getting Bilstein 5100's installed on all 4 corners and I plan to set the fronts at 2.8". I have a 1.5" rear TGC spacer going in at the same time. I think this will give me a nice stance with the stock wheels/tires for now.

In the near future (however long i can hold myself back) I plan to get new wheels/tires along with a 1.25" RCX body lift. I flirted with the idea of 22's, but I'm now leaning back toward 20's. With the Billsteins at 2.8, 1.5" spacer and then 1.25" body lift, what tires would you recommend on 20" wheels? I plan on AT tires, not MT since I do alot of highway driving. The most cost effective route seems to be 275/65R20's which is a 34" tires. I think my ideal tire size might be 285/65R20 or 305/60R20 which is more like a 34.5" tire, but they are about $100 more per tire. My questions are:

Will all these sizes fit with my proposed final setup?
Which size would you recommend?
Is it worth the extra $100/tire for another 1/2"?
Any other size recommendations?

I'd go with the 35x12.50x20 toyo at2

It's my favorite AT tire and can be found a lot cheaper than most.
It ends up being a 34.5 actual diameter.

I feel buying that size tire would open you up later on. Say you wanted more lift. Well that size tire would look good with more or where you will as opposed to strictly buying a tire to fit just the bilsteins and spacer.

My truck in my sig has 2.5" level with 1.5" spacer in rear and 3" bodylift. It was a cost effective way to get 5.5" of lift. The tires are a true 35 toyo MT on stock wheels with a 1/4" wheel spacer. Just wanting to save you the hassle of wanting to go bigger later and regret your tire size choice. I should have just got 37"s and been done with it. lol

This sounds pretty good, but is that 12.5 width going to rub? I'd be getting aftermarket 20" wheels, but what offset would I need to accommodate that with the 2.8 Bilstein and 1.25 BL? Or would I need a spacer?

285/65R20 fits stock no level or anything and if you do BFG A/T they are 34.7 so you are paying more for .7 inches mine were ridiculously expensive not sure about other brands but I will probably explore next time. The one big draw back of increasing the tire size is mileage is killed.

I'm not certain. but I would assume something in the 4.75" backspace region.

I believe a 20x9 wheel. I'm not offset savvy so what would I need to accommodate the 12.5" tire with a 20x9 and how about 20x9.5?
