The 88 uses 2 of the same flared fittings with O-rings, PROBLEM, I have a 69 Dodge Charger 383 motor and it's original power steering box. The 69 PS box takes a flared end like on a drum brake wheel cylinder, can't use the older power steering lines from the engines era as both ends were that flare. solution to follow.

This combination will allow an older engine in a first Gen truck to work.
As far as the return line, the stock line works perfect. I'll take an additional pic when installed.

Note; not easy lines to find, but car parts warehouse is getting it in 1 day and some can be found on Amazon.

The line I ended up using was Edelmann 80277
The side with the "Z" shape I cut off leaving only a straight piece, added my old flare from original line, re-flared the line and everything went as planned.

This will use the original gear box to the truck and power steering pump from older 383 440 400 426 motors for sure, others maybe, as long as they use the same PWR ST pump.

Don't use the earlier suggested lines, ordered them and would not work due to fit, fittings etc.
