Did 08+ 4.7s have an updated egr valve? There is an oem one on ebay that has this description
Up for sale is a new genuine OEM EGR valve - new in Mopar box! Not aftermarket junk!
Chrysler had a recall for a faulty EGR valve that most used and aftermarket are that defective unit....this IS the replacement upgraded part, not the faulty one. Faulty defects have the following part numbers: 53034073AB; 53034073AC; 53034194AA; 53034194AB.
This is the upgraded newest unit available - genuine Mopar (Part # 53034194AD)
Fits 4.7 motors only in the following:
2008-2013 Ram 1500
2008-2011 Dakota
2008-2009 Aspen, Durango, Commander, Grand Cherokee
its
$128 vs $58 for an aftermarket one. I had good luck with the non oem one for my old 04 5.7 ram but not sure how picky my 98 4.7 is.
There is quite a big peice difference and if i can save the money id like to. Thoughts?
