Upgraded to 18 Radio with CarPlay want to stream Movies

Hey guys! So now that I have the the new radio installed with CarPlay which is freaking awesome, what do I need to get or what is recommend to be able to stream movies to the screen?

Generally speaking that's not possible as the CarPlay/Android Auto interfaces don't allow it for safety reasons BUT there are ways to get around this with jailbroken phones and modified apps. It's typically not an easy process though. You can add a streaming device by hijacking the cargo camera input like I did if interested...

if you want to leave it or any other wireless adapter plugged in, you need to modify power to the hub so it doesn't stay powered up all the time...

THat is a great option. Didn't know it existed but it also adds wireless AA/CP so more functionality than AAwireless as well.
