The upper brake light on the
passenger side is not working. Turn signal works ok. All other light work fine
Did some testing and found that the wire going into that brake light bulb is also the turn signal. The turn signal works ok.

There is a 'tail and turn', and a 'tail and stop' and a reverse.
When you turn on your head lights do the tail lights on both work?
You checked the bulbs filaments and they are both good?

I replaced both my bulb 'cassettes' (can't think of what they are called), the grey part the bulbs and wiring harness plug into. They were pretty cheap on Amazon. Took care of all my bulb issues.

I plugged in the bad tail light assembly into the good driver side plug. It worked ok. So I know that the assembly and bulbs are ok. Are each side run independently back to the control unit?

Yeah, sorry I missed this, check the wiring at the plug. I had a lot of corrosion on my passenger side I had to deal with.
